About the experience
Get back to what 4x4s were really built for as you enjoy a thrilling off-road driving experience at Oulton Park. You’ll receive expert tuition, making this ideal for beginners and more astute drivers alike. After a safety briefing and induction to the magnificent Land Rover Defender, you’ll be taken to the ‘nursery slopes’ to learn some of the basic techniques. It’s then on to the main event, as you take on the full course, covered in dips, slopes, water sections and bumps, to really put you through your paces! You will get a full 50 minutes’ worth of awesome off-road driving fun.
What do I need to know?
- Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website
- Your voucher is valid for one person
- Available week round, year round
- On receipt of your voucher, you are free to call the supplier directly to book your experience
- The experience lasts around 90 minutes in total
- Minimum height: 5'2” and maximum height: 6'9”
- Maximum weight: 20st
- You must have held a full manual UK driving licence for at least a year, and will need to present the original (no photocopies) on arrival
- Personal accident insurance and cancellation cover is included in this package

Brilliant Experience
Really loved driving the short wheel Land Rover guided by David Jones. Making sharp turns on the wheel is quite different to driving a modern day car. This vehicle is everything I thought it would be. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I received this red letter day from my husband last Christmas as I've always wanted to have a go in a short wheel base Land Rover. Fabulous morning!

A Great Driving Experience
Its amazing what these vehicles can do. Impossible ascents and descents, tilting at seemingly ridiculous angles, crossing deep water. A great instructor who made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable.

60th gift
Never done off road before so it was quite an eye opener , in particular the feet off pedals style .The instructors were great and gave easy to understand and clear instructions with good humour it was a really great experience.
