Head over to Shrewsbury Prison on a guided tour led by a former prison officer, exploring the reception, Victorian wings and exercise yards while learning what life behind bars was really like. You’ll walk the landings, step into a cell as the steel door closes, and finish in the most chilling areas being the executioner’s bedroom and the execution room.
