Great Tour

The tour itself was great! It was clear the guide knew his stuff and it wasn't just a rehearsed script. It was engaging and went too quickly, I could have happily walked round longer! Red Letter days however... When I spoke to them as my emails had all came through without my time on and I couldn't remember what time I had booked. (I didn't realise at initial booking) They said I didn't need a time and to just go to the station, she was adamant this event did not need a time...so they wanted me to just turn up at the station at any time of the day...it's a guided tour, of course you need a time! She wasn't very helpful at all and told me to contact the transport museum if I had more questions. Contacted them and they were great and gave me all the info I needed instantly. 10/10 to The Transport Museum, their staff and the tour guides etc. We had a great time!

Really enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours

This is a fascinating museum with something for all age groups - lots of written information available to read, but also video and/or audio installations, as well as interactive hands-on activities (for example a simulation of driving an Elizabeth line train) for adults as well as children. Enjoyable for us older people able to say "Oh yes, I remember that!". Also, as you'd expect, several old buses and train carriages strewn around the premises.
