Introductory Tank Driving Experience

Take the controls of real ex-services vehicles during a military-themed session. After an introduction and safety briefing, drive a 432 Armoured Personnel Carrier and a 6x6 Supercat, then head to the armoury with an ex-British Army sniper to explore hardware including AK47's, MP5's and rocket launchers. Next comes the fully amphibious Gvozdika tank, followed by the chance to crush a car with a Chieftain Main Battle Tank.

  Available on selected dates in May, July and September. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age: 12 years. Minimum height: 1.52m/5'0”. You do not need a driving licence for this experience. You will need to be reasonably fit to participate; if in any doubt as to your suitability please contact the supplier for guidance. Minimum age for spectators is 7 years.

• Duration Detail

  Sessions run 9am–1pm or 2pm–6pm. The experience is expected to last approximately four hours.

• Numbers On The Day

  This voucher is valid for one person. Spectators are welcome but will be subject to a fee (includes two vehicle rides), payable directly to the supplier.

• Dress Code

  Please dress appropriately for the weather, including wellies and gloves. It gets very muddy and can get very cold.

• Other Info

  Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. There may be up to 30 other participants on this experience with you. You need to notify the supplier if you intend to bring spectators. If you wish to alter a booking once made then this must be done more than 14 days in advance; you will not be able to change the date after that time.
