Excellent Stay
Having read through the comments and reviews of this hotel from previous guest I was unsure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. At the reception the staff were very welcoming. Food was excellent served by several young waiters and waitresses all of whom were pleasant and doing a great job. Our room was clean and tidy with everything that was needed I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Great pool, gym and dinner
Went with my daughter (10) and really enjoyed our stay. Room was modern and comfortable, leisure 'centre' was spacious with huge gym and 20m pool and jacuzzi. Food in the evening was delicious - three courses all chic and tasty - and served by friendly staff. Breakfast lacking a little quality and customer service. The thing that lets the experience down is the canteen feel of the very basic, echo-y, soulless restaurant. Disappointing. All it would take for a facelift is some cool art on the walls or a pop of colour on the tables/chairs, but really the hotel could benefit from a second, slightly more atmospheric restaurant.

Great food.
The hotel is very tired and needs sprucing up. However, the room was clean and the food; lunch, dinner and breakfast, was great. The on-site health and leisure facilities are awful. There were no robes or towels supplied-you had to use the towels from your room. You cannot relax around the pool area as there are only chairs to sit on, some broken, with very little room for people to get by. There is a garden area adjacent to the pool with chairs and sun loungers but again some were broken and there were no cushions. This area has also been neglected with weeds everywhere. On trying to re-enter the leisure centre (it is not a spa) the door was locked from the outside so I had to walk around to the entrance, in full view of the car park, in my swimming costume with my towel around me. The hotel is also very noisy. The best part about my stay was the friendly staff and the lovely food.

Night away
Hotel is as it says 3 stars. This photo is taken from the back of the hotel and obviously many years ago. Staff very nice, food very poor. No real bar area, it's basically the front reception.

Very disappointed
Very disappointed with this hotel, was gifted as a Christmas present, the room was very dated the bathroom had all black around it the bed was so so hard I hardly slepted and my back really hurts from it. There wasn't many options for the sit down meal very disappointing and 2 drinks at the bar come in at £14. Was really looking forward to a treatment at their spa but the spa turns out to be one treatment room so it was fully booked up. Unhappy about the whole situation
