Winchcombe overnighter

Really good stay overall and good value for money, although it took a while to work out how to book. Once we got hold of the booking Lady, Harriet she communicated well and made it clear that ee would just get £50 off the meal. This was fine as we only over spent by £5 and food was excellent. Though there didn't appear to be many choices, what we did have was really good squid, duck pancakes, fish and chips and Steak frites. Really enjoyed the Sausages and Bacon in the full English, which was included in the experience too. First impressions of the white hart weren't that great, as it looked like we just walked into a village local and it didn't look like a Hotel. However our room had a superb view and was a good size with comfy bed. There was a real buzz in restaurant and bar in evening,. We walked to Suedley Castle the following morning. Car parking was a little confusing as you park in a library car park about 5-10 mins walk from hotel which is only £1 per day but you have to pay each day, so we had to use ring go app to not get caught out. Overall a really good experience and we would stop again.

Lovely Experience

Visited after a close friend funeral, ALL staff very pleasant and efficient, food excellent, service good, room comfortable, lovely private balcony overlooking hills - cosy, quaint , chic.
