Relaxing Break
A lovely night away. Relaxing massage, a swim and very good meals. Just what was needed!

Great value
Easy to book through redletterdays
We arrived at 12.30pm, for our treatment at 1pm. Check in is 3pm. Our room was ready & we were upgraded to a super king bed.
Massage was really relaxing. The therapist used hot stones even though I was only booked for a regular massage.
Spa was still quiet at 2pm, so we used the sauna, steam & jacuzzi, plus a quick swim…heaven
Lots of beds to relax on.
Gym looked super clean & well equipped with Lifestyle equipment.
Robes in the room & shower products supplied

Really easy to organise. The hotel itself was superb; delightful staff and the food was to die for! Overall, we were really happy with our stay and the whole experience.

Amazing present
Crown Hotel has an amazing accommodation, great staff, nice and clean rooms and the spa team are really good. Special compliments to Gert as a therapist. Had a full body massage and was amazing. Totally recommend. Excellent customer service.

Book your stay early if you want your treatments
With ten weeks left on our voucher we rang the Crowne Plaza Marlow to book our stay. No problem getting a room booking but no treatments were available for the next twelve weeks or so. We had two options, go ahead with a booking before the voucher ran out and forfeit the treatment portion, or chop the voucher in for something else and either pay up the difference of get a refund if the selected option was cheaper. As we wanted to go to Marlow we went with the former. The Crowne Plaza offers membership to its spa to local people so this may be one of the reasons treatments are hard to come. Staff on duty reckoned that over 50% of those in the spa during our stay were locals - not guests. So if you want to get the maximum out of your Red Letter day experience book your stay very early but beware we were advised you can't cancel or reschedule once the booking is made. One further gripe - the fizz for two was a single 20cl bottle of prosecco, disappointing.
The hotel is big, with at least two functions on over the weekend we stayed there. Having said that the staff were very good and the functions did not impact on our stay. It's clean and the room (king - we upgraded) was a good size. The breakfast was very good. Would I buy this experience for a friend or family - no I wouldn't.
