What do I need to know?

- After booking, you will be contacted by the spa up to seven days before arrival to ask any required health questions and arrange any treatments that are part of your experience
- Should Afternoon Tea not be suitable, this can be upgraded (when booked in advance) to a 2-course Spa lunch at a cost of £7.50 per person, payable directly to the Spa upon arrival.

Birthday gift
Loved the experience and tea was very good, staff really nice and friendly. Only negative thing was that it said slippers were provided but there wasnt any.

Amazing dat
Had a spa day with treatment and afternoon tea, The Spa phoned in the morning to confirm my booking. Sher Tang was so nice made me feel so relaxed. Went for afternoon tea afterwards which was nice

Quite disappointing
We went to Walton Hall Hotel and Spa for an advertised ‘spa day with afternoon tea’. As this was a 21st birthday gift we were very much looking forward to it! Unfortunately, the ‘spa’ is more of a hotel pool/ leisure space, the receptionist couldn’t have been more dull and the facilities were not as advertised. Upon arrival there was a baby class, acceptable for leisure/ hotel, but not for a spa day experience. The pool was well maintained with a small sauna and steam room but felt very basic to us. The afternoon tea looked lovely but tasted stale and not homemade in places. As our treatment wasn’t booked in until 4.45, we left the hotel to go and get a coffee elsewhere. If we had have arrived earlier (9/10), as advised, we wouldn’t have had enough to do.
Positively, we were served by a lovely waiter during our afternoon tea experience, who couldn’t have done enough for us. The treatments we had (back and face experience) we also great, with the therapists being very attentive and relaxing.

Won’t be going again
I’m afraid I won’t be going back here again - whilst the facial and massage itself was good, the facilities are not. The building is really tired and in need of full redecoration, the pool and changing areas in particular. The reception area is not welcoming although the staff were lovely ! The worst bit was the trek across the car park in my dressing gown to the main hotel for afternoon tea. It was cold and damp and I had just had a treatment so looked a right state and had to sit in a smart restaurant with suited people staring at me. Afternoon tea was ok but cakes were clearly shop bought and stale.

Pool area floor was dirty, there were not enough loungers round the pool, it was a substandard spa experience
