VERY ENJOYABLE TREAT. THE FOOD AND TEA WAS EXCELLENT. THERE WAS MUCH VARIETY IN THE SANDWICHES AND CAKES. THE SERVICE FIRST CLASS. EVERYONE WAS SO WELCOMING AND KIND.

Afternoon tea
The location was lovely on the edge of Rutland water. The response to my enquiry was very prompt and booked within a couple of days. I don't eat meat which they considered when making the sandwiches. The cakes were very nice, the scones were fluffy and warm. We would have liked a pot of cream each but that is the way we like it. A lovely way to spend a midweek afternoon.

The hotel is lovely with beautiful views across Rutland Water. Most of the food was quite average, but the scones were gorgeous! Freshly made and served with cream and jam.
