Wonderful Christmas present
Normanton Park Hotel is situated by the edge of Rutland Water. We ate in the conservatory overlooking the water, beautiful view. Food was excellent, we had ordered vegetarian and were not disappointed. Meal was topped off by "bottomless" Prosecco. In summary we really enjoyed our excellent Christmas present.

Bottomless afternoon tea at Normanton park hotel was fabulous, felt spoilt, great service, great selection of sandwiches and cakes , lovely setting and views could not fault. Will do again and recommend to family and friends.

Wonderful afternoon in a great setting right next to Rutland water. Service was first class so was the Prosecco !!!

Ok but not great
Nice location but not the traditional afternoon tea you expect. For the money definitely there’s definitely nicer options elsewhere. There were no tea choices like you’d expect, it was just breakfast tea or filter coffee, the sandwiches were very basic (tuna, cheese and Tom, egg). I’m veggie but my husband isn’t and wasn’t presented any meat options. There was just 1 other couple there (so place a bit soulless) but they also had the same presented. Scones looked out of a packet which was disappointing. Had to ask for the Prosecco as it wasn’t offered despite being on a ‘bottomless Prosecco’, after this service improved. Overall experience took an hour.
