The referral course means that participants complete step one and two out of the three steps needed to complete the full PADI Open Water course. This is a great option for those wanting to complete the open-water dives in a different location – such as on holiday in a beautiful setting! This referral course includes five theory modules, which can be completed at home over Zoom or in a Bolton Area Divers' classroom. The second stage involves confined-water dives, where participants learn how to set up equipment, how to enter the water, how to use the equipment and basic safety skills.
