Bradford Experience Days

We were greeted warmly & shown to our room. Two flights of steep steps, not good but the manager saw my wife struggle with the climb & very kindly reallocated a room on the first floor. Excellent staff with a warm approach to guests. Breakfast - spot on to set you up for the day but do try a steak in the evening - fantastic.

Could not fault it in any way. Staff were lovely and polite. Food was delicious, plenty of it and we could take home the leftovers.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Greeted with a roaring wood fire making the wet weather tolerable. Check in was seamless and the bar and restaurant very welcoming. Food was superb and staff polite, cheerful and helpful. Big bonus being dog friendly, they were accepted everywhere except the restaurant which was understandable. No problem we ate in the bar and as all the other guests did too it made for a really warm and friendly atmosphere. First visit here and it will definitely not be our last.

Very interesting. Beautiful gardens. Train ride experience was great. Commentary very informative. Highly recommended a visit, or two as it’s so vast we couldn’t see everything in one day.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea experience at Bartley Lodge. Everything from the surroundings to the the 'tea', and from the staff to the weather, was perfect. It was a truly special way to celebrate our wedding anniversary, with a little bit of quintessential 'British style'.
