Fantastic day out

Day out with a Train
We started our day with the train ride. The last time we travelled by steam was in the sixties. The whole experience was nostalgic. the sound of wheels on rails, the smell of , steam, and the sights going slowly by you get a good look at familiar flora in the countryside. The next stop was coffee and delicious cake before walking round the other displays, the museum, the signal box and the engine shed.
Wonderful . A day well spent.

We have been to this railway before but a few years ago.
Had this given as a birthday present for my husband. A lovely day out. Did find redeeming the voucher a bit lengthy but we got there in the end and booked a lovely day out. Would recommend.
