Guided Kayaking Trip at River Arun for One

Glide along the Upper River Arun on a relaxed yet rewarding kayaking trip for one. Starting near Stopham Road, you’ll follow the river as it threads through open fields and into quieter, more secluded stretches upstream. Qualified instructors accompany the group, helping you build confidence with the paddle while pointing out features of the surrounding Sussex countryside. Look out for wildlife along the banks – from water birds to, if you’re lucky, a kingfisher – and warm up with a hot drink during the outing. With five to six hours on the water, it’s an immersive way to experience the river and the South Downs from a different angle.

  Minimum age: 18 years. Maximum weight: 18st (115kg). Participants should have a reasonable level of fitness and be able to swim 50m.

  Please allow approximately five-to-six hours for this experience.

  This voucher is valid for one person.

• Dress Code

  Bring a full change of clothes to go kayaking in, including footwear and underwear. Clothing should be suitable for the time of year.
