Take the controls of a hovercraft and put handling skills to the test on a purpose-built track over land and water. After a full induction and safety briefing, head out for a series of track challenges to build confidence and control. Round off the session with a timed run, aiming for the quickest lap and the prizes on offer.

Minimum age: over 14 years (Leicestershire). Maximum weight: 127kg/20st. No previous experience is required to participate.
- Duration Detail
Please allow one and a half hours at the venue.

This voucher is valid for one person. There will be between ten and 14 other people on your course, dependent on location.

Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. Includes a full induction and safety briefing, plus time on the track completing various challenges; in Leicestershire all challenges are solo. A time trial is included to attempt the quickest time, with prizes on offer. The craft reaches speeds of up to 40mph at the Leicestershire location. In Leicestershire the racing will be time trial, relay based and you will not race against other participants.

Fantastic experience
My friend bought this experience for my two teenage daughters. Although quite apprehensive at the beginning, Marc the instructor, built up their confidence gradually and by the end of the session they were whizzing around a field, even over a pond. I can’t recommend this experience enough for teenagers and adults who want an exhilarating experience that is well instructed and lots of fun!

Great fun - would've liked more time in the hovercraft
All good fun. The team from Acceler-8 were excellent, only downside is that whilst you may get 5 goes in the hovercraft that only equates to about 10 minutes of actual piloting (though in fairness this is true for all of these types of experience events)! Would've loved more time learning to "fly"!
