This was a lovely day out, especially as the scones were warm and the cream and jam were perfect.
The tea was so nice, I took a picture of the wrapper and bought some later.
The staff were friendly and were more than interested in what they do.

Had a lovely afternoon at Bickleigh Castle, sunny weather helped enormously. Guided tour by very knowledgeable curator followed by excellent cream tea.

Apart from the rain till 2.30 had took umbrella and was well used, had a lovely tea for two , and nice walk around the gardens . Had to change voucher as the bird of prey falconry in Northumberland stopped doing it ,

Wonderful birthday gift
This was a wonderful birthday gift for a place I had planned to visit but never managed. So much to see and perfect for wandering. Lots of lovely eateries and finishes with a gorgeous garden centre. The whole experience was easy, relaxing and enjoyable.
