About the experience
Escape to the Eastnor Castle Country Estate for a full day at the potter’s wheel. A welcome tea or coffee sets the tone before a demonstration covers the throwing process. Then it’s time to get hands-on, building core skills with an experienced tutor nearby for practical tips. After a break, a second demonstration focuses on working with larger lumps of clay, ready for an afternoon of practice. Your piece will dry for three weeks before being posted out.

Available on weekend dates at least once a month, sometimes twice. All dates are subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age: 16 years. Suitable for complete beginners so no experience is necessary.
- Duration Detail
This experience runs 10am–4pm.
- Numbers On The Day
This voucher is valid for one person. The workshop is shared with up to eight other participants.
- Dress Code
This experience can be messy so please wear older clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. Bring an apron if you have one and an old towel.
