Rally Driving in Gloucestershire

Enjoy the ultimate in adrenaline driving with a half day rally driving in Gloucestershire. Beginning with a safety briefing covering basic technique, then dive into the driving seat and learn the rest behind the wheel, maximising driving time. The first two sessions cover practice and tuition - the instructor teaches (among other things) power slides, spins and turns. Afterwards, put the skills to the test and complete two time-trials against a stopwatch on a gravel rally track, and try and win the driver of the day. While times are counted, take an unforgettable white-knuckle rally passenger ride. At the end of the session, the best driver of the day is announced - it could be you! Take home a copy of your stage times and assessment sheet.

• Availability Description

  At least one weekend date per month, plus occasional weekdays. Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age is 17. Minimum height 5'0'' and maximum height is 6'4''. Maximum weight is 20 stone. Participants must hold a full manual UK driving licence and be able to produce it on the day to guarantee participation.

• Duration Detail

  Lasts around three hours including two practice sessions, two sessions against the clock and a high-speed passenger ride driven by the instructor.

• Numbers On The Day

  Up to five participants are placed in a group to share the driving. Up to three spectators aged nine or over (one of whom must be an adult who remains present at all times) are welcome.

• Dress Code

  Wear flat shoes, comfortable for driving. Helmets are provided.
