Two Night Stay with Breakfast at Wivenhoe House for Two

A lovely location outside the city centre. A beautiful old house hotel. Delicious afternoon tea with great service.

I'm finding it harder and harder to use these vouchers across many vendors who no longer accept or make it difficult to book or validate the voucher on the day. Nothing could be further from the truth with Wivenhoe Park Brasserie. They were friendly and accommodating on the phone for a group that included voucher users and non voucher users - they called ahead and emailed ahead to confirm our booking and arrangements and everything was handled on the day without any fuss with regard to redeeming the voucher. The food itself was delicious, the gluten free was really good too and not sub par, the children's afternoon tea - at half the price - was no less food than anyone else, so everyone was really happy. The decor is lovely, there is more charm and character to the building than some of the pictures make out - they make it seem really modern. It has a modern interior but in a really well preserved stunningly characterful building. The staff were lovely and attentive, the atmosphere was good as it was busy without being loud. Walking around the gardens and lakes after was stunning in such great weather. Have been before and would go again. Thanks for a lovely afternoon.

Lovely surroundings and good service. It would be a nice touch if they would offer tea/coffee refills as it would cost very little but be very much a nice touch.

It was our 58th. Wedding anniversary and the staff made us feel very special. The food was well presented and very nice. It was a lovely afternoon thankyou we will recommend.

The whole experience was above and beyond expectations. From the time we arrived until we left. Food brasserie, staff ambience was excellent!!! So much so that we are already planning further visits!!!
