Two night break for two
We stayed at The George Hotel Chollerford. Super dog friendly, lovely room, friendly staff, comfortable bar area. The downside was the swimming pool was out of action. Would definitely stay there again.

Glamping at its best!
We loved the concept of staying in a Romany-type caravan for two nights. The location suited us as naturalists so well with places like Arne Heath and Brownsea Island so close. We did other trips to Thomas Hardy’s house; Corfe Castle and to the Great Bustard project on Salisbury Plain. We packed a lot in but we were there close to Longest Day so we had lots of time to use. We are in our 70’s but encountered no problems here - and the staff were so friendly and helpful too.

Great Gift
We were bought this is a gift last Xmas and only just managed to book it. Booking was easy, just needed the code. Greeted warmly on arrival. Tasting menu was explained. Came with Prosecco but hubby doesn’t drink so he received a 0% beer instead. Tap water was topped up without asking.
Food was amazing and we left suitably stuffed. Would go back definitely. A lovely gift to receive.

Amazing
Me and my partner stayed in a pod and we were amazed by how nice it was. There is a lovely river as you look out the door and was very quiet and relaxing. The toilet/shower facilities were spotless. Loads to do in the area.

Lovely relaxing tea
Staff were friendly and welcoming from the start. The restaurant looked amazing, complete with pianist. And the tea was to die for. I've never had such tasty sandwiches and cakes. There was so much we went home with a doggy bag each.
