Afternoon Tea in Oxfordshire

The afternoon tea for two was fantastic, really good food and lots to eat, the surroundings was so lovely and it wasn't busy.

Staff were brilliant. The tea was lovely and we enjoyed it

A great day out. Intermittent drizzle did not spoil the occasion as there were plenty of indoor exhibits etc.

Venue was lovely , waitress was very friendly and the afternoon tea was lush Thanku

Had a nice afternoon tea at the slug and lettuce . Staff very attentive and really went above and beyond to try and provide a dairy free alternative for 1 guest.

The staff at the Grange really spoilt us with a delicious tea in a convivial lounge. A platter of sandwiches n pastry was followed by warm scones and heaps of cream, large lemon possett jars plus tarts n buns. We were reluctant to leave the comfort of the lounge.

We had an enjoyable cream tea given as a gift and paid for a friend to go with us x The staff were very efficient and food cream tea delicious would recommend highly thankyou

Red letter days no problem. Slug and Lettuce Riverside Reading very poor. Waited 5 minutes to be shown to table no one acknowledged us then chose our own. Sat at table for 5 minutes no one acknowledged us. Went to bar waited approx 4 minutes before finally being acknowledged. During all the time we waited three members of staff glanced at us occasionally, never making eye contact or acknowledging us verbally, although the male member of staff continued his conversation with the couple he'd been speaking to outside the venue, when we first arrived. Please forward this to the Slug and Lettuce Riverside Reading then hopefully the experience won't be like this for another Red letter customer, because unfortunately as the provider of the experience it looks very bad for you. The food was nice but only warm, not hot.
