What to Expect on a Meerkat Encounter

Head down to the zoo for an initial briefing by trained professionals before venturing into the enclosure. Now it’s time to meet the meerkats! A park team member will always be on hand, offering constant guidance and insights into their behaviour. Hand over a phone or camera to the zoo worker for them to capture some amazing photos of the day.

Prepare to closely interact with these furry creatures – as they are inquisitive and bold! Watch as they all bundle into an endearing group hug. Who wouldn’t want to be in the middle of that?

We offer magnificent meerkat encounters all over the country, so be sure to discover a local zoo nearby. Keep an eye out for sessions with entry to the attractions included as part of the package. After making new friends, guests can explore other incredible species, like beautiful big cats and mischievous monkeys.
