Kayaking
Overview
Fancy doing something a bit more adventurous on a day off? Kayaking is fun, active and a great chance to learn a new skill. Begin with a safety briefing and an outline of basic handling techniques from an expert instructor. Then go out onto the water in a one-person kayak for a relaxing river trip through the Victorian Jephson Gardens and into the nature reserve. There may even be a chance to play some games specifically designed to aid competence in the water - it's a fun way to end a satisfying experience. Kayaking is one of the fastest growing watersports in the country and can't be beaten for the sheer pleasure of powering silently across the water.
