Spa Day with Afternoon Tea at Mercure Dartford Brands Hatch Hotel for One

You are given a guest pass to all the facilities on the day. Unfortunately, the fitness staff did not show me around so I found myself wondering into random rooms to find out what was in them. The gym equipment is limited and dated. You are given access to the steam room, sauna, pool and hot tub. You are given a towel and robe and slippers if you did not bring your own. The changing rooms are clean but again very dated. The facilities were okay. Once all completed (all in all I spent 2 1/2 hours using the facilities) and then booked in my afternoon tea for straight after. I would highly recommend the afternoon tea as this was my highlight. You are taken to the Racing room. It is very clean and decorated remarkably! As the hotel is located near Brands Hatch, there is so much history of drivers, a bike on display and also a pool table if you fancy playing. The staff in the Racing room were so professional, welcoming and very polite. They served brilliant afternoon tea. The small sandwiches, desserts and scones were so delicious! I would give the afternoon tea 11/10 and the remainder of the experience 6/10

Shambles from start to finish. The jacuzzi was closed, the pool had a water aerobic class booked in so we couldn’t use that either and it was loud music so not relaxing. We paid for an extra treatment which they then told us they didn’t actually do and although they confirmed the afternoon tea they then told us they couldn’t find the booking! Would never go there again as it’s not a proper ‘spa day’ just a pool which they clearly hire out to others so people on a spa day can’t use it

Friendly staff, had a lovely time relaxing round pool was really impressed with the afternoon tea. Suggest you bring flip flops as the changing room floor was very slippery but had a lovely day would defiantly go back again..
