As hoped and as expected

Straightforward - not well air-conditioned inside and nothing to annouce "you have arrived at the top" you just feel like you are going up one lift and then another so that aspect let's it down a bit as an experience. But well run and staff nice and incredible views.

Review.

We are unable to comment on the view or the afternoon tea as we were not able to attend the experience which was a christmas present. In line with government advice not to travel and the fact that we are both in our late 60's we contacted redletter day on Monday to re-arrange. We spent half the day on the computer trying to sort out new dates. The AI conversations sent us round in a circle and was not helpful When finally got through to customer services it appeared to be AI that gave me the answer " as you are less than 72 hours required to change or cancel, we are not able to help you". We felt very angry, but we were able to speak with the receptionist of the Bistro restaurant and he was very helpful and was able to change our reservation. To save any further stress we purchased new tickets for the Shard. We are very unhappy and we would like to a senior member of staff to resolve this issue. At the present time we will not be recommending Redletter to any of our family or friends. I look forward to hearing from you. Yours Martin

Wonderful Gift Experience

The view from the Shard experience was a fabulous experience. The views are amazing. We visited at 8pm and was there for sunset, which further enhanced our experience.

It was good, but.....

We could not get to the upper open air viewing gallery, due to planned maintenance that had been going on for quite a while. It's a shame that there wasn't a notice or warning when we booked, as we could have pushed our trip back a few weeks to get the full experience.
