Two Night Luxury Escape with Dinner and Fizz at The Snooty Fox Hotel for Two

Outstanding, charming building in a central location. Only let down was no parking close by, but a 5 min walk to free car park. Staff are absolutely lovely, welcoming and approachable. Room was superb, we even had a jacuzzi bath as added luxury. The bed was so comfortable and enormous! Cooked breakfast selection was amaizing, but a better fruit selection would have been nice. We took the afternoon tea as a treat, and were not disappointed. Would have preferred china tea cups and saucers, and more appropriate background music for an afternoon tea setting in that gorgeous room. The evening menu had a good choice. We had the beer battered haddock & a steak, which were just delicious. We had drinks after in the cozy bar with the log fire roaring. I would definitely return to The Snooty Fox as thoroughly enjoyed our stay. 100% recommended.

The hotel was very nice, the staff were very attentive and the food was extremely good. The only downside for us was that our room, room 8 was very dark as it only had 2 small windows which were covered with an opaque film because it overlooked the kitchen yard and the kitchen extractor fan vibrated through the floor from 7 30 in the morning to 9.30 at night.
