Excellent afternoon tea
An excellent afternoon tea at King Street Town House. The choice of traditional or savoury - High Tea - is a welcome option not offered by many others. We had one of each and swapped and shared. Food good, teas good, champagne good (!) and the service was absolutely spot on. Would heartily recommend.

Great Stay
Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Greeted with a roaring wood fire making the wet weather tolerable. Check in was seamless and the bar and restaurant very welcoming. Food was superb and staff polite, cheerful and helpful. Big bonus being dog friendly, they were accepted everywhere except the restaurant which was understandable. No problem we ate in the bar and as all the other guests did too it made for a really warm and friendly atmosphere. First visit here and it will definitely not be our last.

Our red letter voucher
Our stay in windermere was excellent..the break was needed..
Nice list of hotels to choose from.
When arriving at the hotel we were looked after ..
The voucher was handed over with compliments.
The nicest part was we don't have pay ourselves as the voucher was a gift..
I recommend red letter days to those who wish to buy someone a gift. The experience was fantastic
