After walking all day in Kew Gardens, warm soup is not just food — it’s comfort, grounding, and restoration. Chicken soup gives that gentle protein warmth, very nourishing after long outdoor walking. Lentil soup feels earthy and steady — especially beautiful after being surrounded by trees, glasshouses, and all that green life.

Peckforton castle is an amazing location. The food was plentiful and delicious - we couldn’t eat it all soo took some home. The staff were delightful.

What a wonderful experience. Great Hotel. Lovely afternoon tea followed by 3 course evening meal as a murder mystery played out around us; great fun. Peaceful night followed by a marvellous breakfast.

A really fun gift for a big birthday from my children. Afternoon tea was lovely. The Murder Mystery was very well done and we had great fun with the guests on our table trying to work out who did it. Alas we were wrong. The Murder 57 Company were excellent. The dinner was fine, although the main could have been warmer. Likewise breakfast was not very hot. The hotel was nice. We stayed for two extra nights before the event. Our room was looking a little on the tired side and the bathroom certainly requires a refurbishment, bath panel cracked, a cracked tile and mould on the grouting. Also a crack in the sink. It took us back to the 1980's, when we bought our first house - colour of bathroom suite ivory. A small wardrobe with five hangers for two people. We had to lay our coats on the table. No double glazing which meant the windows were running in condensation. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Sorry we didn't take any photos. Overall a very good experience. We would do it again. Now we have to book our theatre break in London.

Incredible fun and a great chance to see a new city. We chose Bath as we had never been before. It was a good choice. The treasure hunt was challenging in places, especially when the answer was finally found hidden behind scaffolding. It was also informative. Beware and be warned when printing the clues. We didnt notice until we were home that one question had dropped off the page. So we were only able to submit 49 answers! Quite frustrating to say the least. There is no time limit in the day and you could even split it over two days. Allow at least a few hours to complete the hunt so that you can enjoy it and have breaks. (It takes more than the recommended time if you want to really enjoy it.) You can also divert from the route to explore further afield. A fantastic well planned quiz and I would definitely do another one somewhere else if I get the chance. Well done LPWT!

This was bought for me as a birthday gift. We had to travel quite a distance to reach the venue but it was really, really worth it. The adult accompanying the birds was super friendly and informative and made sure that everyone was well-prepared. We learned so much about the birds and got to wear the gauntlet to handle them, so there were some brilliant photos to remember the day too. It felt so special to be up close to these amazing creatures. My day with the birds was a good while back now but I still ahve the best memories!

Great hotel and food, friendly staff. Hotel right on the water front with lovely views of Menai bridge.

Hotel exceeded our expectations, greeted with a huge luxury room, in a hotel with great facilities to match the service provided. Very simple and easy to book had no problems.

Afternoon Tea at Harrods was wonderful. Service, ambience and food were all excellent . We have had a number of afternoon teas in London over the years and I can’t think of a better one, the piano accompaniment was really lovely too.
