There are very few chances to drive a vehicle as prestigious as the new McLaren 570S. Beautifully designed, immensely powerful and way out of most people's price range, driving this vehicle is a luxury and one that's completely unforgettable. Begin with a briefing from a senior race instructor, before being driven by a pro for three laps in a Skoda to get a feel for the circuit. Then it's time to take the wheel of the McLaren itself, and rev its roaring V8 twin turbo before speeding off for three mind-blowing laps of this world-famous 2.4-mile track. An instructor will take the passenger seat to offer encouragement as drivers enjoy the responsive handling and endless acceleration of this very special car at the UK's fastest circuit.

• Availability Description

  This voucher is valid for one person. This experience is available to book on selected weekdays from February–November, please enquire upon booking for further details. Booking at least six weeks in advance is advised. All dates are subject to availability.

• Participant Guidelines

  Minimum age: 17 years. Maximum height: 6'3''. Maximum weight: 18 stone. A disclaimer must be signed confirming participants hold a full British or international driving licence and are fit enough to participate.

• Weather

  Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice or severe rain) which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in doubt. Any unused laps are credited for another visit.

• Duration Detail

  Expect to be at the circuit for one and a half hours, including a briefing, demo laps and over seven miles driving the McLaren. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of the booked time to ensure a prompt start.

• Numbers On The Day

  All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings may be shared. During familiarisation laps, up to three people share a car.

• Dress Code

  Dress comfortably (preferably avoiding synthetic clothing) and wear narrow, flat-soled shoes. A helmet and any special clothing are provided.

  Our vouchers are flexible and may be used to select and book an experience from our range via our website. Thruxton is the fastest circuit in the UK and a popular course in the British Touring Car championships. Drive the full 2.4-mile circuit on the day. Some driving experience providers may ask participants to sign an indemnity or damage waiver form on the day of the experience. This means they may be asked to contribute towards the cost of any damage caused to the vehicle during their experience. Full details of the indemnity or damage waiver will be provided by the experience provider. We’re unable to advise or comment on the content or suitability of the waiver. Most providers also offer an optional indemnity or damage waiver for an additional fee. This is separate from the public liability insurance held by all venues.
