Wonderful Day Out
This was a lovely gift and the opportunity to learn about Heart Yorkshire Vineyards and wine making.
The presentation by one of the family members was engaging and informative. Chatting through their history leading to their success story.
We were then taken around the Vineyards explaining the different types and how they are maintained.
Then finally into were the manic happens, from grapes, to wine to bottling.
When we returned to the marquee we had wine tasting laid out with some light bites to accompany.
This was followed by lunch from a choice of 5 lunch menus.
Quick visit to the shop to buy some of their wonderful wine.
An absolutely lovely afternoon, highly recommended if you are into your wines.

Fantastic Experience at Brighton City Airport
Very easy to book through Perryair at Brighton City Airport (Shoreham). The pilot and team were really friendly. The plane was such an amazing mechanical experience, I was allowed to take the controls while in the air, which was fantastic! Great instruction! Would recommend long trousers, trainers and tie your hair back if it’s long. ??

A must for Emmerdale fans
Really interesting tour - gives you an insight as to how it's filmed and funny to see the locations in reality as not laid out quite as it appears on screen! Easy to follow instructions received (although some people seemed to struggle, maybe didn't read the email!) and staff always available to guide you to the correct location.

Grandchildren's Treat to us
A very enjoyable experience from the starters to the coffees. All the courses were delicious, my husband and I took different courses so we could send photographs of them to our family, in Welwyn Garden City, 400 miles away, who gave us the vouchers.

Sunday Afternoon Tea
We rang only the day before to check if Afternoon Tea was available on a Sunday knowing they served Sunday lunch. A check of the bookings, the call handler offered the option for anytime after 3.30.
We agreed to 4pm. On the Sunday we made out way to what is a destination venue, it is nearly the last property in the rural village before the gate onto the North Yorks moors. The grange is a substantial stone dwelling, quaint and personal. Met in reception, despite being 15 minutes early we were welcomed and invited to sit in the sitting room or roam the gardens and someone would find us when they were ready. A quick tour of the rose garden, we were met on the small terraced lawn and offered the choice to sit onside or iunder a parasol at a table on the lawn. We chose to sit out and enjoy some sunshine. Once seated were were offered tea or coffee and asked if we had any allergies. The large pot of tea with a pot of hot water arrived with the pots of jam and cream soon followed by the tray of sandwiches. The sandwiches were in brown bread -alternatives were not offered- also on the platter were sausage roll, jam centered buns, peaches in elderflower jelly. The bread was soft the sandwiches fresh - the filling were good but no options were offered. The Elderflower jelly was a surprise and very refreshing!!!
The teapot was sufficient for 6 decent sized cups of tea with a fresh pot and more hot water offered. Part way through the sandwiches a plate with home made warm scones arrived. They were very light and deliciously crumbly and went down well with the thick cream and strawberry jam.
Staff came to enquire everything was ok and were chatty and friendly throughout. We were not pressed to leave even after we had eaten and we took the chance to admire the furniture and clocks.
Would go again!!!
