A Fantastic Afternoon

This was a retirement gift from work colleagues. The Harrods Staff were so kind to my guest and I, especially our waiter Tariq. You could tell that they wanted their guests to enjoy their time, service was quick and there was no rush for us to leave. We had a lovely glass of champagne to start with . All of the food, sandwiches, scones and cakes were beautifully presented, fresh and tasty. We could not manage to eat the cakes so they were put into individual gift boxes for us to take away and enjoy at home. I would really recommend this experience as a thoughtful and special gift. We enjoyed ourselves so much we plan to go again in the future.

Wonderful experience

I took a friend. We are both coeliac and we were catered for with no problems. I would have liked another pot of tea offered to us but that's trivial. We both really enjoyed the lovely surroundings. The staff were very helpful and efficient .

Fantastic food

Fantastic food, especially the Japanese savoury pancakes with Japanese mayo. The sushi was outstanding. The hosts were also very accommodating. When I informed them that I was a vegetarian (no meat or fish), an incredible selection was created for me to enjoy with many clever substitutions, (my partner is not vegetarian and had the Japanese afternoon tea as is). Furthermore, my email request to be sat near the Teppanyaki counter was granted as we were sat directly in front of it. Very good experience.

Lovely afternoon tea

Had it at Patisserie Valerie Bromley and it was an amazing experience. The voucher was easy to use. We just walked in and then I showed it to the staff. And then they served a sumptuous afternoon tea. It was a lot so we even had a takeaway! Big thanks to our friend who gifted us this experience. It was our 1st time to have traditional British afternoon tea and it was exquisite!
