Luxury Afternoon Tea Gifts

The hotel is lovely and the room we had tea in was beautiful. It was a delicious afternoon tea with a good choice of teas or coffee if you preferred. The tea was loose leaf. There were 4 different sandwiches and a sausage roll. A fruit and plain scone and 4 different patisserie cakes. The staff were attentive and polite. They gave you plenty of space to enjoy your tea.

My husband and I were gifted this experience by a friend for Christmas. The voucher came in a nice red envelope. Booking had to be made by contacting the restaurant directly, rather than online. So it wasn't the easiest but since we had allergies we would have called or emailed anyway. The experience itself was amazing! The restaurant was quiet at 12pm even on a Saturday (I think most people go for dinner). The staff was polite and we knew we stepped into a luxurious place. The food was very tasty!! It was just enough that neither of us felt peckish until dinner (despite walking a LOT the rest of the day), but not too much so we could enjoy it all without feeling bloated. We are both very much into Japanese culture, and can say that Ginza St James offer an authentic experience, for Japanese lovers and curious foodies fan alike. The wagyu menchi katsu was divine, especially dipped in the sauce made of raw yok and soy. We had a glass of champagne included, and treated ourselves to lovely cocktails too. The tea selection is unique and I found a new favourite. The restaurant dealt really well with our allergies too, they had it all written and adapted slightly the menu for us. I highly recommend this experience; it's unique and really worth it! PS: I only was allowed to upload 2 pictures, there was more food on the table!

Great savoury and sweet delicacies. Scones to die for. Lovely staff and ambience at this quirky venue.

Considerate staff, didnt rush us at all and gave us plenty of time to eat. Excellent pastries and sandwiches Only thing that would have made it better is if it was clear whether refills were included and if we were able to choose where to sit.

We have been to Tylney Hall before and were delighted with the afternoon tea, and were pleased when we were given another opportunity to go there. The Hall is located in a stunning setting. All the staff were very attentive. The afternoon tea was delicious and we were in the Lounge which was very comfortable. Restful music was playing to complete the experience. It was wonderful.

Really enjoyed our afternoon tea in Harrods yesterday. Pleasantly surprised at how full we felt afterwards. You do have to pay for additional stuff like bottled water and after everything we had an additional cappuccino and coffee. But we absolutely loved it
