Absolutely brilliant day. Wonderful setting, fantastic animals kept as naturally as possible, lots of space to roam, hide & be themselves. A true breath of fresh air to see, unlike any other captive setting I’ve visited. The afternoon tea was delicious, friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend.

Just got back from a lovely couple of days at rodway, everything was great. The pod was perfect, really good shower block, great breakfast. Weather was and so was the unlimited golf would recommend.

This was a great day out for both of us, staff were fun and knowledgeable and made us feel welcome. Would happily book again.

On a very hot day we spent a relaxing couple of hours wandering around the lovely gardens at Barnsdale. We were able to sit in a shady spot in the garden to eat our delicious afternoon tea. It was a most enjoyable visit.

This was bought for me as a birthday gift. We had to travel quite a distance to reach the venue but it was really, really worth it. The adult accompanying the birds was super friendly and informative and made sure that everyone was well-prepared. We learned so much about the birds and got to wear the gauntlet to handle them, so there were some brilliant photos to remember the day too. It felt so special to be up close to these amazing creatures. My day with the birds was a good while back now but I still ahve the best memories!

I was in two minds about booking this for my mother having read some of the reviews. However I'm so glad I did. The owner and her cousin were so friendly, helpful and welcoming. The scones were home made and absolutely delicious, with plenty of cream and ham. The tour was about 1.5 to 1.75 hours, there were plenty of places for my mother sit on the way around. John was very knowledgeable and engaging. We both had aively time, thank you.
