Kew is an amazing day out, and a really lovely gift to give. It can be cheaper via red letter days if there's a discount too

We were blessed with good weather and an amazing display of colour. We loved every square inch of the place. Every corner turned was met with a "wow!". Truly beautiful. They are gearing up to an exhibition of works by Henry Moore and many were already on display in the gardens. Loved it!

This was bought for me as a birthday gift. We had to travel quite a distance to reach the venue but it was really, really worth it. The adult accompanying the birds was super friendly and informative and made sure that everyone was well-prepared. We learned so much about the birds and got to wear the gauntlet to handle them, so there were some brilliant photos to remember the day too. It felt so special to be up close to these amazing creatures. My day with the birds was a good while back now but I still ahve the best memories!

Fantastic place. Beautiful scenery. The ticket process was swift online. Paid with PayPal. There is no need to book a slot or time for Kew Gardens. Just redeem the voucher online and turn up. Show the voucher at the entrance and they will process the ticket. Food inside is expensive. Plan to pack a picnic lunch/bag. The children's area is next to the Family Kitchen Shop/Restaurant. Parking on site available at £10 per day but the gardens close at 7pm and the parking 30 mins after.

The experience from start to finish was amazing! All the animals looked happy and well cared for, any staff we bumped into were so friendly and helpful answering any questions about the animals we had, nothing seemed to much! The safari was an amazing experience and the afternoon tea was incredible! Such an amazing day from start to finish ??

Had a fantastic time walking through the woods looking for mushrooms and foraging, great leader , fun bunch of people ..... had a great time !!

What an amazing day. The keeper was so knowledgeable and helpful, we went through the gorilla house and up on to the roof. The gorillas were out in the garden and we fed them fresh fruit and veg. There were just 4 in our group so plenty of time to ask everything we wanted to.Then on to the jeep safari, seeing animals that were not on the walking trail, great commentary from our driver. All in all highly recommended, it was a very special day.

We had a really great time doing the Really Wild Encounter at Millets Wildside near Oxford. The experience lasted about 45 minutes and we got 3 encounters - the 2 lemurs, the 2 burrowing owls and the 3 capybaras. We learned so much from our keeper and it was amazing to get up close with these wonderful animals and feed them. The capybaras really took a shine to us (the food helped!) and we enjoyed the owls more than we expected to. Our keeper made us feel safe at all times and her passion for the animals shone through.
