Hands-on Falconry Taster in Warwickshire
An excellent taster session for bird lovers who want to get hands-on and learn about the beauty and grace of various birds of prey. Begin by meeting the birds of the sanctuary with an experienced falconer and learn about different species, habits and environments. Then, select a species of bird to carry upon a gloved fist and begin the thrilling task of flying the chosen bird. Move onto fly different species in the flying arena and view their spend and skill close-up. See how they fly and feed and if the weather is nice, the session ends with flying one of the falcons. This great opportunity to become familiar with some awe-inspiring creatures is not to be missed.

Seven days a week all year round, excluding Christmas.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age 13 (under 16's must be accompanied by an adult). Although the site is wheelchair-friendly, with hard paths, some aspects take place on uneven ground.
Please call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If the experience is cancelled because of bad weather it will be re-booked for an alternative date.
Expect to be at the venue for approximately an hour and a half. Feel free to spend the remainder of the day exploring Hatton Country World.
- Dress Code
Dress for the outdoors and wear wellies or walking boots. Bring a change of clothes if the weather is bad. Don't forget your camera and/or a pair of binoculars if you have them.
