Nice tea, shame about the admin.

Lovely venue, the afternoon was really delicious, and staff attentive. It was only let down by an administration issue between the hotel and Red Letter Days. Although everything was booked through Red Letter Days, the hotel was not able to process my voucher as payment and was unaware of what was included in the package. I spent 2 hours the following day, trying to sort it out with RLD. I would have liked RLD to correspond directly with the hotel soon as I flagged up the issue, but I have been left as the middle man, and still waiting for the matter to be resolved. I can’t fault the hotel, they have been very kind while we wait for a solution. It has been a disappointing end as this had been a 50th Birthday gift, and I was looking forward to spending my voucher, as I have friends who have had very positive experiences with RLD.
