Harry Potter Tour for Two

We went on ourtour yeserday and had the most magical tim. Dani our guide was out of this world amazing. She was so enthusiastic and loved everything Harry Potter. She was full of fun facts and movie trivia. She listened to my son's question and gave him time to share his thoughts! I would highly recommend this tour for all HP fans out there. Lots of walking but due to lots of info being given and lots to see it went quick and didn't realise the distance walked x

Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable enough. However, a few things stood out that made this experience less than magical for me and my daughter. 1. Even though our whole group was waiting at exactly the right spot indicated in the email instructions, Chris decided to 'apparate' a little way behind us without a word, simply holding up a folder with "Harry Potter Walking Tour" written on it like a holiday rep. 2. So much for seeing "your guide with a wand". There was no wand and no effort to dress even remotely like a wizard or Potter enthusiast. My daughter made a huge effort to dress like a Slytherin, but Chris? Nada. Not even a small comment to acknowledge my daughter's effort. 3. Fortunately, I had ensured myself and my daughter had a toilet break before the tour. There was no such opportunity during our lengthy tour and neither was anything mentioned during the initial debrief about the possibility of stopping. This should definitely be factored in on the tour. Although our guide was good at keeping us together, there was no visible 'safety net' like a coloured sticker each and/or counting us off. Another group we saw had a much more animated and enthusiastic guide with a "spell book" prop and even a replica of the Elder Wand. Things like this would have added a really cool and more engaging experience .. maybe even a chocolate frog or two.
