Things to do in Chester

We were greeted warmly & shown to our room. Two flights of steep steps, not good but the manager saw my wife struggle with the climb & very kindly reallocated a room on the first floor. Excellent staff with a warm approach to guests. Breakfast - spot on to set you up for the day but do try a steak in the evening - fantastic.

The venue was good friendly staff,food was good ,the atmosphere was of a friendly but competitive. The cast held their own with the buzz of the crowd with the storyline being laid outand the clues giving an insight into a good whodunit. My wife and I enjoyed it thoroughly. RED letter should hold their heads up high

The welcome and service was good and friendly. Good food. Actors brilliant with interesting twists. Good accommodation with delightful 4 footed ling eared neighbours. A few practical points: Entrance sign on the road hidden behind trees on inside bend - no time to turn left safely. Instructions on use of shower need to be provided, particularly with warning that water can become scalding hot.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Greeted with a roaring wood fire making the wet weather tolerable. Check in was seamless and the bar and restaurant very welcoming. Food was superb and staff polite, cheerful and helpful. Big bonus being dog friendly, they were accepted everywhere except the restaurant which was understandable. No problem we ate in the bar and as all the other guests did too it made for a really warm and friendly atmosphere. First visit here and it will definitely not be our last.

Wonderful. Funny nostalgic entertaining. All that i would expect and more. Thoroughly enjoyed every moment.

A really fun gift for a big birthday from my children. Afternoon tea was lovely. The Murder Mystery was very well done and we had great fun with the guests on our table trying to work out who did it. Alas we were wrong. The Murder 57 Company were excellent. The dinner was fine, although the main could have been warmer. Likewise breakfast was not very hot. The hotel was nice. We stayed for two extra nights before the event. Our room was looking a little on the tired side and the bathroom certainly requires a refurbishment, bath panel cracked, a cracked tile and mould on the grouting. Also a crack in the sink. It took us back to the 1980's, when we bought our first house - colour of bathroom suite ivory. A small wardrobe with five hangers for two people. We had to lay our coats on the table. No double glazing which meant the windows were running in condensation. The staff were all very nice and helpful. Sorry we didn't take any photos. Overall a very good experience. We would do it again. Now we have to book our theatre break in London.

Fantastic place. Beautiful scenery. The ticket process was swift online. Paid with PayPal. There is no need to book a slot or time for Kew Gardens. Just redeem the voucher online and turn up. Show the voucher at the entrance and they will process the ticket. Food inside is expensive. Plan to pack a picnic lunch/bag. The children's area is next to the Family Kitchen Shop/Restaurant. Parking on site available at £10 per day but the gardens close at 7pm and the parking 30 mins after.

Myself, my Daughter, my Son and my Granddaughter were staying in London for the weekend. We went to The Long Acre pub before going to the Theatre. The food was amazing and the meal was brilliant value for money! The pub was lovely and had a great atmosphere!, and the person serving us couldn't do enough for us and went above and beyond in every way! I would highly recommend this Deal and The Long Acre!!!!!
