Great Stay
Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Greeted with a roaring wood fire making the wet weather tolerable. Check in was seamless and the bar and restaurant very welcoming. Food was superb and staff polite, cheerful and helpful. Big bonus being dog friendly, they were accepted everywhere except the restaurant which was understandable. No problem we ate in the bar and as all the other guests did too it made for a really warm and friendly atmosphere. First visit here and it will definitely not be our last.

Fantastic Location and staff
We were very warmly welcomed upon our arrival and show to a lovely library room where some others were enjoying the tea. We had lovely sandwiches and cakes and upgraded to have some bubbles. Thornbury castle is a beautiful place and I love old buildings, having afternoon tea there as well made me feel like I was super important...which I'm not!
