Things to do in Rye

Had a lovely meal at Bbar . It wasn't fancy but it was delicious ,beautifully cooked and presented. The chicken tenders were seasoned well and exceptionally tender ,the fish and chips were just right ,the fish had crispy batter and it was cooked perfectly with chunky chips and all the trimmings also the dessert choice ,we had the cheesecake,was a great baked cheesecake with a fresh seasonal strawberry couli .,could hardly fit it all in but i did! Great! Also our waiter David was lovely ,kind ,attentive,polite and brought me a glass of Fizz as it was a birthday meal, that was extra to the voucher. A very pleasant experience that i would recommend.

My son was gifted this for Christmas and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He learned lots of interesting facts about meerkats from the keeper and got to feed them lots of mealworms. There were some 5 week old babies which made the experience even more memorable! A unique and memorable gift for children and adults of all ages.

We loved it. What a perfect day. Easy booking.Great Service and friendly staff. We were shown parts of the stadium that normally the public wouldn't see, like the changing rooms, the press room, the pitch and even the Royal Box with heated seats and a fantastic view. The tour party was small which made the experience feel very intimate. The parking and access were great and we got the whole history of the stadium with some great interactive questions and some informative history and other fun facts. I would recommend this to anyone. We went with my son and his best friend and they're still talking about it. Red Letter Days made it so easy

The hotel was very smart and the food was lovely. There was so much, we were full and even too some food home with us.

My husband and I were gifted this experience by a friend for Christmas. The voucher came in a nice red envelope. Booking had to be made by contacting the restaurant directly, rather than online. So it wasn't the easiest but since we had allergies we would have called or emailed anyway. The experience itself was amazing! The restaurant was quiet at 12pm even on a Saturday (I think most people go for dinner). The staff was polite and we knew we stepped into a luxurious place. The food was very tasty!! It was just enough that neither of us felt peckish until dinner (despite walking a LOT the rest of the day), but not too much so we could enjoy it all without feeling bloated. We are both very much into Japanese culture, and can say that Ginza St James offer an authentic experience, for Japanese lovers and curious foodies fan alike. The wagyu menchi katsu was divine, especially dipped in the sauce made of raw yok and soy. We had a glass of champagne included, and treated ourselves to lovely cocktails too. The tea selection is unique and I found a new favourite. The restaurant dealt really well with our allergies too, they had it all written and adapted slightly the menu for us. I highly recommend this experience; it's unique and really worth it! PS: I only was allowed to upload 2 pictures, there was more food on the table!
