Things to do in Rye

This event far exceeded my expectations! I learnt so much such as... how to properly smell, taste (including aeriating the wine) and understand why certain wines are more acidic. We had very nice cheese and biscuits, tartlet (with the champagne) and a chocolate edible case for the desert wine. These were really tasty and complemented each wine perfectly. The presenter was a fountain of knowledge and produces small batches of his own wine so knows all about making the wine making process, what makes a wine have certain characteristics/flavours and he explained it all so very well. It was an excellent day and I would recommend to anyone that likes wine! We also bought some of the wines we tasted as they were excellent.

The food was delicious and presented well. The staff Sadia, Maria and Effy were extremely helpful in accommodating our special requests. I would highly recommend this afternoon tea and I would go back again. Many Thanks

We were given the Meerkat experience as a gift. The venue was excellent, loads to do especially with small children. The experience lasted about 30 mins, but you had access to the wildlife park all day.

Fascinating tour of the Kitchen Garden conducted by very well-informed and knowledgeable gardener The garden provides many ingredients for the restaurants at Rudding Park, especially 52. This was followed by a three-course lunch in the Clocktower, where there was a good choice and it was all very tasty and relaxing.
