Enter the former Old Street Magistrate’s Court and Police Station, where many famous names have a appeared, such as Oscar Wilde and the Kray twins, and sit down for a delicious ‘Shoreditch style’ afternoon tea! Its stylish interior retains many of the original features including several of the original holding cells - so sit back, relax and enjoy the historic atmosphere of this fantastic Grade II listed building. Afternoon tea

Amazing experience from arrival - hotel is a magnificent building and staff really attentive from the outset. Good selection of sandwiches and cakes all of which were delicious

Great afternoon tea

We had a lovely afternoon, the tea and cakes were lovely, nice surroundings. We learnt a bit about the history of the building. It was pretty quiet but I guess it was due to the time of day we chose. All in all, it was a good experience.

The tea was very simple and nothing that special but the staff were helpful and friendly. We were the only guests there having tea.
