The Harris Hawk was a spectacular bird and it was such a privilege to walk with her and see her in flight. Joe was also very informative and made the experience interesting.

Hawk walk, 6 people one hawk plenty of time to get close up to the hawk as we all had gloves so she could land on our hands. Very knowledgeable handler and good photo opportunities if you want them.

We’d never have booked something like this for ourselves but will definitely do it again. A very knowledgeable ‘host’ and it was amazing to get so close to a hawk.

The venue is based at the back of a large garden centre, you are greeted and briefed on safety and then you are introduced to the beautiful Harris Hawk. We were in a group of 6 and we each had around 6 turns to have the bird come to our glove then fly again. Throughout the walk the birds natural behaviours are seen and explained with a little humour along the way. Dave the keeper of the birds is very welcoming and clearly very experienced and knowledgeable. From start to finish (approx 1 hour) this was enjoyable for a bird lover like me and my husband who came along for the ride but also loved the experience. We will definitely be going again and would recommend thus experience to anyone.
