A brilliant gift
My son was gifted this for Christmas and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience. He learned lots of interesting facts about meerkats from the keeper and got to feed them lots of mealworms. There were some 5 week old babies which made the experience even more memorable! A unique and memorable gift for children and adults of all ages.

Great Day
The Meerkat Experience was amazing, could have spent a lot longer with them.
However that would have meant missing out on the other attractions.
Another star of the day was the white cockatoo who got so excited when someone spoke to him and was more than happy to talk back.
Overall a great day.

Amazing hotel
The cathedral gate hotel in Canterbury was amazing. Staff were lovely. Hotel rooms were clean and beds were great. It is in the heart of town but not noisy ans it was all so quirky. Photo from just outside our room

Glamping at its best!
We loved the concept of staying in a Romany-type caravan for two nights. The location suited us as naturalists so well with places like Arne Heath and Brownsea Island so close. We did other trips to Thomas Hardy’s house; Corfe Castle and to the Great Bustard project on Salisbury Plain. We packed a lot in but we were there close to Longest Day so we had lots of time to use. We are in our 70’s but encountered no problems here - and the staff were so friendly and helpful too.
