Afternoon Tea in East Midlands

Lovely afternoon tea. Great venue and excellent sandwiches, scones and cakes

Very enjoyable in a lovely setting

I booked x2 afternoon teas at S&L Blackpool as we were visiting for the day and had a voucher to use. I had struggled to use the vouchers previously. The staff were really good at S&L even phoned me to make sure it was correct for 4 people as I had booked 2 of the same. On arrival a really nice lady greeted us and was more than helpful and very welcoming. The sandwiches were really tasty and fresh. Great selection of everything. Even boxed the rest up for us to take home! Thank you ladies! (22/10/25 1.30pm) unsure of names xx highly recommend them.

We had a lovely and most enjoyable afternoon tea. The staff very warm, friendly and welcoming. The food was 5 star, most enjoyable afternoon.

Stunning gardens and the afternoon tea was delicious.

Red letter days no problem. Slug and Lettuce Riverside Reading very poor. Waited 5 minutes to be shown to table no one acknowledged us then chose our own. Sat at table for 5 minutes no one acknowledged us. Went to bar waited approx 4 minutes before finally being acknowledged. During all the time we waited three members of staff glanced at us occasionally, never making eye contact or acknowledging us verbally, although the male member of staff continued his conversation with the couple he'd been speaking to outside the venue, when we first arrived. Please forward this to the Slug and Lettuce Riverside Reading then hopefully the experience won't be like this for another Red letter customer, because unfortunately as the provider of the experience it looks very bad for you. The food was nice but only warm, not hot.

First time going today and wasn't disappointed. The Alpacas are lovely, the guide was very knowledgeable learnt lots about our new friends. The Afternoon tea was ideal you can tell its home bakes. Would highly recommend

The Priest House setting is beautiful and the staff friendly and efficient. The room was l light and airy, the tables pristine and the food delicious. We felt special, which added to the whole experience. A most enjoyable afternoon.

Venue was lovely , waitress was very friendly and the afternoon tea was lush Thanku

We had an enjoyable cream tea given as a gift and paid for a friend to go with us x The staff were very efficient and food cream tea delicious would recommend highly thankyou
