Afternoon Tea in North West England

Have to say we had a really enjoyable afternoon there. The food was very nice and the staff were really lovely. Couldn’t fault it.

Had a lovely afternoon tea at the Castle staff was welcoming pity they didn’t have any hot chocolate on the day but still nice drive out

A wonderful afternoon ??

Was really impressed with the gorgeous fresh food and desserts served, even though today was one of the hottest of the year. Pots of jam and cream are supplied on each table for the delicious cherry scones. You certainly won't be hungry after this feast. There is also a bar onboard supplying both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, even tea/coffee. Loved the fresh flowers on the tables too. What a fabulous way to have an afternoon out on the water. I would definitely love to do this again. My sincere thanks to the staff for their attention to detail and great service. May I suggest that perhaps mini fans could be provided when experiencing extreme temperatures?

I had this bought as a retirement present when I finished at my school by the teachers I worked with. It was such a pleasant experience. The restaurant, the staff, the food everything was lovely. I would have liked to have known more about what was included in the red letter package as I was a little unsure as what we would get and what might be extra. As it was the tea included sandwiches, cakes, scones and 1 gin or 1 glass of champagne the staff at the Lowery could not have been more helpful. It really was a beautiful experience.

Everything about this afternoon tea experience was 5*. The setting is wonderful - despite being there on a rainy day this did not detract from the whole experience. The food was lovely and very original and the service was so friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

My partner received as a birthday gift, it was a lovely experience and would definitely recommend. Delicious food and lovely atmosphere.

We found the venue, which was very pleasant, easily. The welcome was both friendly and efficient. The afternoon tea was one of the best we have had. Sandwichs, scone and cakes were all very good and there was plenty of evrything. (Box provided to take home what we could not manage). All together first class.

My self and my husband have just been for champagne afternoon tea at ZENN Liverpool. We received the voucher as a Xmas present. It’s our first time at ZENN and of tasting the food. I have to say it was presented beautifully and tasted delicious. All the flavours complimented each other and the champagne finished it off beautifully. I have sent various emails throughout the week and regarding, booking, dietary needs and the destination. All of which were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. Our hostess was so friendly and attentive and the chefs prepared our food quickly and presented it beautifully. It tasted so nice. We will definitely be back for another visit and would highly recommend it to our friends and family. Wonderful service, beautiful surroundings and exceptional food. Thank you
