once i finally managed to get red letter days to send me the voucher for this, it was easy enough to book. I havent been yet so cannot comment on the actual experience

Good Gift ??

The food was decent, or better than I expected for the price, in London and the experience was quite novel and we were well looked after by a Vivek. The only thing I’d say is to be aware that the drinks aren’t cheap (£9 for a pint of Asahi, but at least I could get a pint) and when you get the bill they’ll add a service charge for the full value of the meal, even though you’ve prepaid for the meal via the voucher. Also, the experience only includes a certain number of dishes, which we only had they were fine in quality and quantity to choose from, and you can pay more for other dishes (which we did not choose).

If I could give it zero stars I would!!

Service was appalling. It took over 45 minutes for our first dishes to come out! (You only get 75 mins of ordering time!) It wasn't even busy when we arrived! The food was ok, nothing special and certainly presentation was not their strong point - think more fast food chain! Some dishes never arrived, particularly the ones with salmon, yet the table next to us who where not on unlimited, received theirs! Drinks are expensive so be prepared, we spent £45 on 2 mocktails and 4 cans of coke! You are only supposed to order more dishes once 70% of your dishes are eaten.... we did not follow this rule or we would have not had any food!! Dishes are small, noodles were slimy and foul...the mocktails were good though!! I was booked to go a 2nd time (booked prior to my first visit!) and have since cancelled! I went years ago (10+) and it was fantastic, hence booking this again. Seriously disappointing!

Awful food

We have been inamo a lot since their inception and this was by far the worst meal we have ever had! The food is now like a fast food chain with everything being deep fried and stale.

New Experience

Unusual restaurant tucked away off Covent Garden. Quite dark inside. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Music fairly loud but modern. Menu is projected onto tables and swiping up and down on table is required to order food. This took a bit of getting used to and sometimes didn't go to plan. I ordered one plate of food and two of the same arrived. The food was very tasty but choice is limited on the unlimited asian tapas and sushi menu. Not many sushi dishes to choose from, but good for vegans and vegetarians. Inamo seemed very popular as it became busy during lunchtime. I would visit again but perhaps choose dishes from the main menu instead. Drinks are very expensive.
