The staff at Elmers Court were great, however the facilities were just ok. The ‘spa’ is just the hotels pool with a sauna and steam room attached, it’s worth bearing in mind that as when we arrived it was full of families and screaming children. There are adult only times during the day however our treatments were booked in so unfortunately we felt like we couldn’t make the most of the adult swim times (hotel picked our times)
Facilities very very dated the spa / afternoon tea area is nothing to do with the lovely hotel, you bypass the lovely tutor house on arrive and get shown to their leisure complex which is a short walk away
Afternoon tea is served in their cafe not the lovely tutor house again was ok but not very clean in the cafe there was rubbish everywhere and left over plates scattered on the tables
Couldn’t fault the staff and our treatments which saved the day
Overall I don’t think this experience is worth the amount it costs we left feeling relaxed but quiet disappointed

Spa facilities disappointing
Disappointing spa facilities basically a pool with just a small sauna and steam room off it. Do not feel it could be described as a spa really.
Treatments however were fantastic and extremely relaxing.Both ladies who looked after us were excellent.
Afternoon tea also very basic with sparse sandwiches with cheap fillings and poor selection of cakes and differed vastly from pictures of afternoon tea on hotel website.Service was inattentive we had to go searching for someone to request more tea.
Given that I paid around £350 for two feel this was very poor value. Would not recommend.
