Stunning

Everything was gorgeous. The building, the staff, the food, the scenery and an upgrade to the master suite. What's not to love?

Overnight stay

Had a lovely stay at Hazlewood Castle. The staff were lovely & friendly & couldnt do enough for us. Great meal in the restaurant & very comfortable room. Only downside for us was the amount of steps there are to get everywhere which wasn't stated on the website that i saw. Anyone with disabilities with walking up steps would have been deeply unhappy. Enjoyed the spa, the lovely young ladies were very helpfull & friendly.

Great gift idea for a couple

I bought the gift for my partner at Xmas and we have just used it (sept). It included overnight stay, 3 course dinner and breakfast. The castle grounds were lovely and we had a great 3 course meal and breakfast. I would have given 5 stars but I have knocked one off because we didn't get a castle room. we were given an annex room (St Margaret's wing). This wasn't what I'd expected or wanted really as i could stay in an ordinary room anywhere. However we did book quite last minute and the room we did have was really large and nice. The staff were really accomadating and went the extra mile to help. I would suggest signing up to the imagine spa emails so you can take advantage of any offers they have on -if you like spa treatments.

Anniversary night away

Covid has not been kind to business, I wish I had visited 10 years ago, stunning location, but the attention to detail inside the hotel was lacking, dusty room. Gin (Hendricks) and tonics, well let's just say it wasn't the real macoy. Food was very limited especially if you have allergies or food intolerance, food was presented very well, looked lovely, but was very bland in taste. I love to visit these old buildings with plenty of character, and it had loads. Please get rid of that imitation fire as you walk in?? such a beautiful fire place spoilt. Unfortunately we left without visiting the spa. The staff were great friendly and helpful.
