Four Hour Tall Ship Sailing Trip for Two in Dorset

Suitable for beginners and those who fancy themselves a dab hand at raising the mainsail, this four-hour voyage sets off from Portland Harbour and travels along the Jurassic Coast and stunning Durdle Door. Passengers can either sit back and enjoy the fresh sea air, views of the rolling waves and picturesque coastal landscapes, or get involved and discover just what it is like to weigh the anchor and even take the great helm themselves. Formerly a cargo ship, the majestic Moonfleet is a steel-hulled Gaff Cutter from the 1930s and is a real sight to be seen on the big blue sea.

  Although the pier and ship do not offer disabled access, staff are always willing to try and accommodate. Please call if in doubt.

• Weather

  If weather conditions are severe and may spoil enjoyment of the trip, another sailing time will be arranged.

• Duration Detail

  The sailing trip will last four hours. Please arrive up to half an hour before the ship is set to sail.

• Numbers On The Day

  The maximum number of passengers onboard on the day will be 12.

• Dress Code

  Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for all weather.
