On our arrival the male owner was stood taping his watch- we were 6 minutes late trying to find the farm. There was no “hello” just the statement “you’re late”. The experience was a Christmas gift and stated it was a Cider tasting with lunch experience. The cider tasting lasted approx 20 minutes, the rest was gin and wine- which we dont drink. There was no option for lunch just a soup containing cider and homemade sausages also containing cider, both were not nice, there was no food hygiene certificate on display that I could see. I was driving so didn’t feel I could taste all the alcohol available plus eat food containing alcohol. We were told how the farm got their distillery license for gin and other less interesting facts. There was not much information on cider making. We were taken on a tour of the farm, saw some animals and a vineyard, didn’t see where the cider was made.
We left before the end of the experience it was so bad.
The information from Red Letter Days on how to book the experience was very clear and concise, no complaints about Red Letter Days.
