A wonderful meal
We opted to stay at the Old Downton Lodge so we were able to more fully enjoy the meal. We started with a glass of exceptional English 'fizz' prior to going through along with some delicious canapes. The main meal was delightful, a fantastic room to dine in , attentive staff and delicious food to complete the picture. Amuse bouche appeared at various stages of the meal and we finished with 'sweeties' in the lounge,

Brilliant gift
My husband was given the dinner for two with bubbles at Galvin la Chapelle. We chose to have lunch. The food was delicious, the staff helpful and attentive at the right level. The restaurant was busy but the space is such it was not noisy or crowded. We really enjoyed it.

Staff amazing, so informative and friendly.
Food was tasty. But only a choice of 2 for each course. We think there should be a least 3 choices.
But overall a lovely meal.

Lovely experience
The meal was really lovely. The staff were attentive. An experience I'm pleased we didn't miss. Only downside, no disabled parking so getting into the castle was very difficult s I had to carry oxygen cylinders from the other side of the car park.
